Formula description

A trapezoid is a convex quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides. The median of a trapezoid is a line joining the midpoints of the two legs. The length of the median line of a trapezoid L is equal to the average of the lengths of the parallel sidesof the trapezoid. a and b are the pair of parallel sides.
